Beautiful coffee shop with amazing super friendly staff. Came here to meet up with a longtime friend of mine and ordered the Cookie Monster latte before she arrived. I tried super hard not to devour my beautiful and tasty coffee drink in one gulp! The person behind the counter recommended it and was not wrong! The place can get full with all the tables taken by people on their laptops, but if you're patient you can get a seat if not at the counter by the window. Wonderful place to enjoy some toast and their lattes.

I had the sea salt caramel latte with oat milk and I am very impressed. Once of the smoothest tasting and most balanced cups of coffee I've had in a while. It wasn't too sweet or bitter or milky and the venue itself is just a really pleasant atmosphere to start your day.

Home Coffee Roasters was one of the first places in the Outer Sunset to serve artisanal coffee. Their lattes are things of beauty and also delicious. The owners grew up in the Sunset, and they always make sure to provide great service. The ambiance makes you want to stay all day!

Home Coffee Roasters is a lovely coffee that deeply cares for community and their lovely craft of coffee drinks. Located in one corner of the Outer Sunset area, there is limited paid parking in front of their shop. I went on a Friday morning and had no trouble getting parking. When I arrived at this cafe, I noticed its cozy exterior that looks like an actual home. The people who worked here are very friendly. You can order on the counter or on the machine (if you are people-shy!). There's only a few outlets along the bench seating area. A lot of people use this space to study and do work. I ordered a matcha latte, a "Let's Avo Cuddle," and a Ham + Gruyère Croissant. The matcha latte was made to perfection. The bitter matcha was smooth to my liking. I like how this shop doesn't use a lot of disposable items and you can eat on the site. I didn't like the Ham + Gruyère Croissant. It had too much bread and I didn't really taste the ham. The Let's Avo Cuddle was alright. I think if the sourdough bread was more toasted, it would be perfect. Right now, it's really fluffy. This coffee shop is very clean and chill. I would definitely come here again to work. Thank you to the manager and the servers who made this visit a positive experience.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. Parking was a bit busy but found a spot on the residential street. Ordered a cold brew to-go using the kiosk machine and got our order very quickly. The cold brew was just ok. 7/10 Good acidity but felt like the coffee taste overall could be richer.

This cozy cafe just celebrated 10 years! Their interior is always set with cute designs and the service and vibes are always welcoming and friendly. They have a great menu of lattes including options like cookie monster, red velvet, rose, and the popular birthday cake. Yummy bites like mochi muffins, pastries, and toasts are also available. They have a few locations around the city so be sure to stop by if you're near on of them!

Monday, 11am Second visit. It's confirmed, Home Coffee Roasters is still in my top 10 of Avocado Toast purveyors. Oh my, 4 choices. Again I went for the Bra-Vo, but added fried egg & bacon crumbles on the side. I find the large amount of bacon overwhelms the avocado, & on the side allows me to garnish at will. The bacon is seriously delicious, just the right amount of chewiness. The sourdough bread actually holds up to the generous avocado mash, be still my heart, bread actually toasted! For some reason this is an issue in San Francisco. If I wanted to be more high maintenance I'd add the cherry tomatoes & red pepper flakes from the Let's Avocuddle. Prices are reasonable for the big city, adding bacon is only $2. I've paid up to $7 elsewhere. Same goes for the $2 fried egg. BTW, there's an order screen I didn't notice, but the friendly woman at the counter didn't seem to mind. No attitude here. For coffee aficionados know that they serve Verve, which is a big deal. I saw a Verve cafe in Tokyo. Support your neighborhood cafe, & note to laptop encampment, read the room, order some food, open up a table if the place is full. Laptop next to me was a clueless couple filling up last table with their backpacks, turning back a nice family. Even Starbucks has enacted a new policy: eat something, then leave. Maybe go to a library? People of San Francisco, Home Coffee Roasters is destination worthy.

I love home coffee roasters. I've been coming here for a few years so this review is overdue! The coffee shop's unique menu offered a refreshing change from the usual coffee shop fare. I'm always impressed by the creativity and attention to detail that went into crafting each drink. And speaking of attention to detail, the presentation of the drinks are almost too beautiful to drink! Almost. The baristas clearly take pride in their work, and it shows. The service was top-notch - friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The staff took the time to explain the different menu options and made great recommendations. The ambience was quiet, charming, and simple, making it the perfect spot to grab a cup of coffee and get some work done or simply relax.

Cozy coffee shop with a good amount of seating - perfect spot to work, hang out, or just to have a nice cup of coffee. I came here on a Sunday afternoon, and it was pretty packed. They have a kiosk for ordering, but I decided to order with the staff since I was also buying beans. For my choice of beans, I got the Peru Organic Cajamarca. Honestly, I wanted all of the beans, because the packaging is so cute! Each bag of beans comes with a complimentary Drip or Cold Brew coffee. I went with a Cold Brew. As for my main drink, I got an iced Hazelnut Latte. This was okay. The hazelnut was very, very subtle. I wanted more hazelnut flavor. This was my second visit to Home, and during my first visit, I got an iced Cookie Monster. I remember that being really good. I have yet to try the beans, but I'm excited to. Overall, I really like Home for its creative drinks, cozy vibes, and cute packaging!

Came on a rainy day and it was perfect spot. Red velvet did taste like cake but not as sweet as I would have preferred. Sea salt caramel was 10/10. Lavender tasted very nice and the smell really makes you feel cozy. Staff was friendly and greeted us asking if we needed help. We didn't wait too long for our drinks.
